The Trio SUR presents a chamber music programme featuring a selection of Astor Piazzolla’s works, such as the famous Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, Oblivion and Libertango, among others. The trio plays arrangements of the pieces in TRIO format, such as the well-known Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, Oblivion and Libertango, among others, with a tango feel in the melodies. At the same time, personal arrangements of pieces such as La muerte del ángel, Esualo and Milonga de anunciación are performed, which lend the trio itself a dynamic quality. An invitation to enjoy the music of one of the greatest composers of the 20th century and of tango.
The Trio Sur, consisting of Gustavo Garay (violin), Daniela Fuentes (cello) and Juan Pablo Moyano (piano), is based in Berlin. They are working on preparing their repertoire for 2024 and on performances at various cultural institutions in the city.
We open at 5 p.m., with the concert starting at 8 p.m. Before and after the concert, you can order our specialities of quiches and fruit tarts or crumble. We close at 10.30 p.m.!

MATE COCIDO QUARTETT
The group has already performed with great success at various venues in Berlin (such as Zimmer 16, Taller d’Luis, ACUD, and others). Led by Juan Pablo Moyano, an Argentine pianist, composer, and music educator, the group performs as a quartet.
Mate Cocido interprets Latin American music with a repertoire that includes various rhythms and musical genres from Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. The ensemble blends styles such as jazz, folklore, and classical music, incorporating improvised passages and special arrangements of the repertoire. It is a fusion of popular music with a modern academic perspective, without losing the character and original spirit of Latin American folklore.
The diversity of composers in the repertoire — including Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti, Astor Piazzolla, and Julián Aguirre — along with original arrangements and compositions, makes the music a true journey full of emotion.

AMALGAM / With Nacha Daraio in voice
Nacha Daraio and Juan Pablo Moyano form a duo that explores Latin American song from a sensitive and contemporary perspective.
